Heirloom Banana Squash native to South America. A native American standard. Greyish-blue fruit grows to 40cm long. Sweet and nutty flavour. Good storage crop. Plants need room to spread. Full sun. Squash is not cold tolerant. Growth: Vining. We always suggest direct sowing squashes and cucumbers, as direct sown typically overtake transplants and become healthier plants.
