Winter Savory looks similar to Summer Savory however Winter Savory is a Perennial. A bit stronger flavour compared to it's cousin Summer Savory. Goes dormant throughout the winter. Be careful not to trim it back too much so that in the Spring a fresh batch of new branches can emerge. We use Savory herbs to make Bulgarian Salts mixed with powdered fenugreek and kosher salt. Winter Savory is said to repel weevils and aphids.
