Distant relative of the tomato family that tastes kind of like blueberries. Produces lots of small blue sweet fruit. Great for fresh eating or pies and jams. Height: 45cm-60cm (18"-24"). Developed in the early 1900’s by Luther Burbank, from a cross of two different members of the nightshade family. Do not eat young green fruit as these are not edible, but instead wait until fully ripened.
Solanum burbankii. Annual. Determinate.
