A rare variety found in Quebec in 1995 in an abandoned farm house. Out of 200 seeds only 3 germinated after 60 years of being exposed to unfavourable storage conditions. Produces very meaty and large deep red tomatoes weighing up to 3 lbs. Perfect sandwich tomato.

Staking this variety will preserve the quality of the fruit and health of this plant. Start indoors 6 to 8 weeks before transplanting outdoors. Bury stems deep to the first leaf sets to encourage side-stem root production.
