Famous for delicious fried peppers. Sweet frying pepper, 10-13cm (4-6") long. Perfect for authentic Cuban cuisine. Sow seed 6 mm (1/4″) deep. 21 C (70 F) germination temperature. To produce strong, stocky plants, grow the seedlings under bright lights with temperatures of 16-21 C (60-70 F). Transplant after hardening off, in late May to early June after all dangers of frost have past. Full sun with well-drained soil. Space plants 30 cm (12″) apart in rows spaced 60 cm (24″) apart. Avoid high nitrogen fertilizers.
